NebKon takes a LOT of people working very hard to keep it running. In addition to full time Staff members, it takes a number of panelists to keep activites moving, a dedicated tech crew to keep all the equipment in good order, and a lot of volunteers to help out. That last bit is where you can come in. Anyone can volunteer, and staff will work with you to make sure you don't miss anythign while you volunteer. It can be just an hour or two, or you can spend the whole of the convention volunteering if you want. you might be asked to help carrry water to the Cosplay contestants, or to check IDs at the door to the rave, or maybe help carry a TV to the game room. Volunteers carried items at the charity auction, holding them up and carrying them around the room so people could see. Volunteers have kept watch on the Viewing Rooms, making sure everyone can see and the disks get changed on time. Volunteers are an extra set of hands to make sure the convention runs smmothly. Volunteers can also earn back part, if not all, of their convention fee; you can effectively get paid to help out. There have also been raffles for volunteers as a sort of extra thank you.
